Our Team
Hope Through Action depends on a significant number of dedicated people who work tirelessly to bring about positive change in the lives of many young people. Without this team, we would not have been able to achieve our objectives over the last 15 years.
Patrons & Founders
Philip and Judy Green, working with Phil Bland, established Hope Through Action in 2008 as the vehicle for their work in the townships. They had also identified the development of life skills through sport and education as their priorities – these have been our focus for the last fifteen years.
Hope Through Action is now working in township communities in the Western Cape. There is no doubt that thousands of lives of underprivileged young people have been transformed by the team’s work and partnership with SCORE.
Hope Through Action is hugely grateful for the efforts made by so many people, in both the UK and SA. Their major priority? Continuing to secure adequate funding to ensure a dynamic and impactful future for the investment in all the centres.
Philip Green was appointed CBE for services to businesses and charity in the UK and Southern Africa
